Set upon pristine Natai Beach on the west coast of Phang Nga province in Thailand, this villa is a very clean interpretation of contemporary tropical living.
The overriding concept has been to create a home that opens up to embrace the outdoors in a seamless composition. A home that is at one with its environs and pays homage to the ever changing ocean view. Water plays an important role in realising this concept. Whether it is the expansive swimming pool, the various reflections ponds or the Andaman Sea itself, the design continually refers to it, making water inseparable to the whole experience.
Glass, steel, concrete and wood are the primary materials and have been carefully brought together to create a simple, yet elegant aesthetic that is in sympathy with the serenity and drama of this outstanding location.
