REID architecture to develop the concept for the passenger terminal.
The first phase for a new terminal at V.C. Bird International Airport has just begun with construction due to commence next year, all part of a master plan by consultant Scott Wilson and REID architecture. The master plan sets out how the airport should be developed until 2030 and how the demands of the 2007 Cricket World Cup, to be held throughout the Caribbean, will be accommodated. Scott Wilson has been appointed for all design works associated with the first phase of the development. REID architecture has been appointed as their preferred architects to develop the concept for the passenger terminal.
