Design Vision Architects private house in Texas
This minimalist house is designed as a serene enclave for a retired couple who enjoy collecting modern art and gardening. To be located along a busy street with traditional homes in an uptown Dallas, Texas neighborhood, the two-story house has an enclosed courtyard as its focal point. The courtyard provides an interior, airy oasis where the couple can relax and tend to the herb garden. Not wanting to restrict the clients to the first floor, which serves as a public space for displaying their artwork and entertaining guests, an elevator will be installed in addition to a staircase to provide greater accessibility to the second floor.
