The new ArchiCAD 15 version - announced May 3, 2011 - enriches architectural forms available for designers to unleash their creative minds. The versatile new Tools (Shells, Complex Roofs) not only support a wide range of shapes and element geometries, but also keep them in the BIM realm by using real structures and element connections. This approach supports designers all the way through the final steps of the design and documentation process.

ArchiCAD 15 reinvents the 3D design space by introducing 3D guidelines and editing planes, making the perspective view the natural, 3D environment for building design.
Renovation and refurbishment projects are nearly equal to the volume of new buildings in most of the developed areas of the world. ArchiCAD 15 expands the design scope to renovation and refurbishment projects with native BIM design and documentation workflow support all the way through.

ArchiCAD 15's overall native multiprocessor and 64-bit support boosts BIM performance both on Windows and Macintosh platforms.
The instant Autosave function provides 100% data safety. This, together with the BIM Server's built-in safety processes, ensure that any data created in ArchiCAD and/or included in the central BIM project is free from data corruption.

GRAPHISOFT has the longest experience developing Building Information Modeling solutions in the architectural space. Since 1982, over 1 million BIM projects have been completed with ArchiCAD, a unique solution for model-based architectural design and collaboration available on both Windows and Macintosh platforms. ArchiCAD is sold in 102 countries in 17 language versions and 26 localizations with hundreds of thousands of architects using it in different around the world.
ArchiCAD has been delivering technology innovation to support OPEN BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows for both internal and external coordination. Turning IFC technology into full-fledged workflow solutions enables seamless collaboration among engineers regardless of their discipline and preferred software.
