100 reduced to 21 as MIPIM announces shortlisted entries for 2011 Awards

A shortlist of 21 international projects has been announced for the MIPIM Awards 2011. A jury of experts met in Paris on 21st January to select three top entries for each of the seven categories. The winner of each group will be voted for by MIPIM participants from 9am on 8th March until 12noon on 10th March. Winners will be announced at the MIPIM Awards Ceremony at 7pm on 10th March.

Filippo Rean, Director of MIPIM said: “The projects nominated for the MIPIM Awards come from all over the world, giving a global overview of the quality of today’s real-estate projects. We decided to change the organisation of the MIPIM Awards by involving the jury alongside participants so as to avoid putting smaller, less-familiar projects at a disadvantage even though they are good enough to win a MIPIM Award."
