Grosvenor Square

The September 11th Memorial Garden is in Grosvenor Square, opposite the United States Embassy. A pergola constructed of green oak sits in a garden planted with American and British plant species. Over time these will become intertwined creating a memorial that is beautiful, timeless and enduring. The columns of the pergola are each crafted from a single oak trunk, and for every tree used, ten new oaks have been planted making this an ecologically sustainable design.
