New high-rise in Germany's second largest city from ingenhoven architects
This eleven-storey residential high rise is situated on the northern bank of the Kaiserkai in Hamburg HafenCity. This exposed situation offers one of the most beautiful views onto Hamburg's inner city, the Speicherstadt and the harbour area.
After analysing the specific wind situations, the architects developed an elliptic building volume. The wave form of the glass façade and balconies is optimised according to specific views and sun altitudes, so you can enjoy an incomparable view onto the silhouette of the city.
On every level you reach up to three apartments with a size between appriximately 60 sq ft up to 125 sq ft. The bigger flats can be combined individually. The dwelling high rise as well as the adjacent six-storey office building was be completed in 2008.
