Lumaglass designs innovative new U-shaped profiled glazing

Lumaglass is an internally lit U-shaped profiled glazing system for both partitions and facades.

U-shaped profiled glazing has been available for many years with the designer constrained to employing backlighting arrangements to illuminate, primarily due to the difficulty in using incandescent lights internally. These 'point' sources of light make it difficult to achieve an even wash of light across glazing screens and it is usually designed, supplied and fitted separately. After 4 years extensive research, we settled on the proven and unique electroluminescent lighting technology primarily because it is cool to the touch, it can be cut to any shape, it has the lowest lighting energy consumption, it is maintenance free and hence, it could be sealed within channel glass
