Old Hollywood glamour meets modern design
The W Hollywood Hotel & Residences, designed by HKS Architects, Inc., recenlty opened in the entertainment capital of the world’s epicenter, where glitz, glamour, world-class culture and cutting-edge style headline the marquee.
Located at the world-famous intersection of Hollywood and Vine, the mixed-use development includes a 305-room W hotel, 143 luxury W residences, 375 luxury apartments and more than 50,000 square feet of street-level retail.
“An icon of modern living, style, and sophistication, the hotel serves as a gateway to the Hollywood Historic District,” said Eddie Abeyta, principal designer, HKS Architects, Inc. “The elements of the movie industry that have so powerfully left a mark on the identity of the Hollywood community, and western society as a whole, are unmistakably represented in the architecture of the new luxury, mixed-use development."
He continued, “Elements like the silver screen will open and reveal itself as the gateway to Hollywood. Through an iconic façade expression reminiscent of the Hollywood big screen, guests are able to glimpse the grandiose of what they are about to discover beyond.”
The red carpet invites visitors to come in and explore the intimacy of the glamorous world of Hollywood. Both the hotel and the residential areas have a rooftop pool deck with views of Hollywood.
The project also hosts an MTA transit plaza, a signature restaurant, bar, spa, and a fitness facility.
W Hollywood is one of the largest LEED-compliant properties in Hollywood, combining eco-conscious construction with stylish design, luxe finishes, dramatic views, modern art and premium services.
