KSP Engelund Zimmermann designs the s.Oliver headquarters in Germany

July 24, 2007 saw the foundation stone laying ceremony for the new s.Oliver headquarters in Rottendorf, near Würzburg. Covering almost 14,000 sq. m the new building provides space for some 300 employees to go about their creative work. The almost rectangular edifice is intersected on two sides by interior courtyards and adopts the s.Oliver brand philosophy in a modern, dynamic style. The one courtyard accommodates the foyer and main entrance, which is highlighted by virtue of it being raised, while in the other, the terraces and expanses of water create a recreation zone. A uniform finish transforms the individual sections into a whole. Indents in the building’s carcass separate the interior volume, giving structure to the edifice. Commissioning is planned for spring 2008.
