Diverse Urban Design Award entries will be judged by two international panels

An international cast from the architecture world will assemble to decide on the shortlist and winning projects for the WAN Urban Design Award next month. The Urban Design Award is the fourth category in the WAN Awards series and for the first time WAN will be considering unbuilt projects as well as those already constructed. Two juries have been collated to deliberate on the design details of some of the world's most exciting urban projects from innovative parking spaces, to city masterplans.

The jury panel for the Built category is as follows:

Bill Morrish, Morrish Architecture
Dervilla Mitchell, Head of Transport, Arup
Grant Brooker, Design Director, Foster and Partners

The jury panel for the Unbuilt category is as follows:

Ian Mulcahey, Planning and Urban Design leader, Gensler
René Bihan, Managing Principal, SWA Group
Russ Hamilton, Design Director, Farrells
Michael Hammond, Editorial Director, World Architecture News
