Texas gains satellite church facility

BASIC is responsible for Master Planning a new 128 acre campus in Prosper, Texas for Prestonwood Baptist Church, one of the largest churches in the country. The phrase, “ church, two locations,” embodies the church’s intent to not only create a satellite facility, but to establish an extension of their existing campus in Plano, Texas.

Built on 30 acres, Phase I includes a multi-purpose/worship facility for 1,500 persons, 40,000 sq ft of education space for children, youth and adults, and a centralized common area for gathering and fellowship. Construction of Phase 1 of the facility is complete and the first service and dedication was held on October 12, 2008.
