Can YOU do better than this?

The London Olympic organizers unveiled a jigsaw-style logo on Monday for the 2012 Summer Games which was intended to appeal to young people. However the public have taken an instant dislike to it amid rumors that it is so bad it actually triggers epilepsy. 48,615 people had signed a petition against the design within 48 hours and even London’s Mayor, Ken Livingstone has come out against the logo.

London Olympics chiefs will be quizzed on the fiasco during a visit by inspectors from the International Olympic Committee next week. Members of the 12-strong “coordination commission” admit privately they have been surprised by the public outcry over the logo and will want to know whether it will damage public confidence in the project or deter commercial partners.

Can architects do it better? Send in your alternative design which will be published in a special zone on WAN and sent to the organizers.

Also include an idea of your fee should your logo be accepted...
