Christensen & Co Architects to design new university campus in Stockholm
The new 60000m² campus will be located immediately next to the Stockholm Archipelago in the northern part of Stockholm City and will form a connection between the two current universities; the Royal Institute of Technology and the University of Stockholm . The project unites the different university faculties in one scheme where all the spaces for teaching and research are gathered underneath the landscape. Above this the buildings hover, all of which have light atria which give each of the faculties their own identity and present students and researches with plenty of space of social and academic interaction.
