If the toys you play with as a child have any bearing on your future career you would imagine that playing with LEGO is a fair indication of an ambition in architecture. One fanatic, albeit a fully grown adult, has taken this connection quite literally creating this surprisingly intricate LEGO replica of Le Corbusier’s Villa Savoye.
Matija Grguric is a 25 year old Croatian architecture student and founder of online LEGO Club Kockice. Having constructed LEGO models since the age of four, Grguric has combined his childhood passion for the little plastic bricks with his adult passion for architecture to create this small scale replica of one of Le Corbusier’s most recognisable builds.
Despite this being his first shot at recreation of iconic architecture in LEGO Grguric has also created his own miniature townscape with buildings in various architectural styles.
