Fine design in mobile retail venue

D-ASH Design of New York have created an upmarket pop-up mobile shop which will go on tour with hip hop star Jay Z to sell his clothing line, Rocawear’s new line of apparel while he is on tour. RocPopShop, has been designed as an embodiment of the ‘lifestyle experience’ expressed by the star’s clothing brand.

A 50-foot long trailer that expands to 1000 sq ft when opened up, was designed in collaboration with Jay Z, to be an upscale mobile lounge complete with mohair sofas, suede walls, custom zebra wood cabinetry, a 46-inch flat screen TV and stereo system, and a custom gaming zone. Products are merchandised in large custom travel trunks covered in stamped patent leather, and lined in suede.
