What is a better way to show who you are and what you do as an architectural practice than designing and building your own office? With this intention, Courage Architecture have realised their own dream in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands.
A house and office built out of steel and glass, with much emphasis on domestic comfort.
Unusual industrial materials and building methods are used to realise this house, and a focus on sustainability combined with an industrial and flexible building process have resulted in a remarkable project.
Our project shows that ‘design’ can be affordable. Lots of glass with beautiful views and a special light entrance are the reason for provoking exceptionally positive reactions from from visitors and passers-by. With clever integrated warming and cooling installations, energy consumption is low with high comfort output, resulting in a remarkable project which is very pleasant to live and work in.
