Good afternoon Ron,

As an Interior Deisgner of the contemporary field for more than 30 years...I was most intrigued with the article in the Dallas Morning News today, in which your new home was showcased . The home's integrity is spectacular with its minimalstic attitude.

As you may be aware, local high-end custom cabinet makers, who work in the contemporary field, are far and few between. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to share the name of custom cabinet maker who was commisioned for your project , especially for the kitchen ensemble.

Thanking you in advance for your immediate attention to this matter.

I shall await your reply.

Ron Wommack weighs in with new Dallas home.

On a 125’ x 50’ inner-city corner lot two linear concrete block walls are constructed to define a garden. Within the garden a 1,650 sf. dwelling with 700 sf. garage are constructed. They take the form of a 25’ wide linear element that frames the garden to the street.

The structure is defined by a 12’ grid of 3” diameter pipe columns and wide flange beams that cantilever into the garden to form a continuous sunscreen for southwest oriented glass. The dwelling and sunscreen are clad with Rheinzink panels and the garage is painted hardy-board. The dwelling will eventually become trees-walls-shadows presenting a garden to the street.
