On 12th April, Conran & Partners were granted planning permission for their Earlsfield scheme

Conran & Partners, along with client Q Development Limited have secured permission for their Earsfield scheme. Situated at the southern end of King Georges Park in Wandsworth, Earlsfield will comprise of 195 new residential units in two buildings over 4/5 levels. A natural riverside park and footpath will follow the banks of the Wandle creating habitat for wildlife and improved access to the river for the local community. A park side cafe and the provision of a new playground in the park are catalysts for its rejuvenation. Two new buildings are proposed. Made of red brick, the southern building is and 3 to 4 storeys high, comprising 52 affordable units. The northern building is 4 to 5 storeys high, with underground parking. It is constructed using lime coloured stock brick with natural concrete balconies. A feature corner element above the cafe acknowledges the park side location and acts as a focal point within the park.
