Buckley Gray Yeoman success at planning appeal for Derwent London's 20-26 Rosebery Avenue

Architects Buckley Gray Yeoman has secured planning consent at appeal for the extension of 20 -26 Rosebery Avenue, London, EC1 . Working for Derwent London, the commercial property developer and investor, Buckley Gray Yeoman’s scheme includes an extension to the 19th century building to incorporate two new floors added at 4th and 5th floor levels. Plans also include the rationalisation of the internal layout of the existing building, which has been split internally into smaller, separate buildings. A new main entrance is also planned and a new stair and lift core is to be added at the rear of the building. The completed building will provide 50,000 sq ft of B1 office accommodation. Working alongside Jackson Coles Project Management, the project is due to start on site in late 2007, with completion planned for Mid 2008.
