Set at the foot of mount Gibraltar, Bowral rekindles the beauty of a traditional English garden town whilst offering contemporary Australian life
This €18 million project consists of 29 houses and 16 units in two blocks in a seven acre development. The project also involves the refurbishment of a heritage building, construction of an indoor swimming pool, gymnasium and changing rooms. The design was carried out collaboratively by renowned Architects Marchese + Popov.
The twenty nine luxury villas are elegant without the need for adornment and sit at ease in their environment. The understated interiors highlight the openness and tranquillity of the villa design. The planning solutions and orientation of the buildings deliver maximum light and warmth in winter and shade and cool in summer.
Overhanging eaves, natural cross-ventilation, open planning and gas fireplaces help the building achieve a commendable four star energy rating whilst the high vaulted spaces and other features bring the wide open landscaped gardens into your living room with internal sizes ranging from 159 sq m to 182 sq m.
