Chapman Taylor designs masterplan for Peel Holdings
This 40-hectare, £5.5 billion development, forms part of Liverpool’s World Heritage Site, stretching from Princes Dock in the South to Bramley Moore Dock in the North, and will create a vibrant new district for the city. Chapman Taylor has designed the masterplan for Peel Holdings to realise their vision for a high-rise city on the water, so that Liverpool will become a great gateway to the UK, as Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney and New York are to their respective countries. The design takes advantage of the natural waterside location and creates a new skyline for this part of the city and will really put Liverpool on the map, bringing with it a massive increase in the number of tourists, and creating tens of thousands of new jobs in the area. It will be the largest investment of this type in the North West for over a century.
