Inspired by origami and the existing house’s unique geometries; the extension folds itself around the rear of the property enclosing a new black concrete kitchen and dining space. Frameless glass windows create dramatic views to both the sky and the garden, whilst the black zinc cladding provides a striking contrast to this fragmented transparency. The project is going on site Summer 2008.
