HASSEL architects create a workplace for KPMG with a proffesional yet relaxed brief

KPMG's new workplace extends over five floors in the Harry Seidler designed Riparian Plaza. Accommodating over 400 staff, the KPMG workplace is a response to the firm's desire to project an appropriate professional image within a welcoming and relaxed environment.

The design brief was driven by the need for KPMG to react to the growth and change of their different business units over the length of the lease. A dedicated client floor provides flexible facilities for the public face of KPMG. Front of house meeting areas are capable of customised room configurations to suit the varied needs of client interactions. The practice floors enhance teamwork and collaboration whilst balancing the need for privacy. Meeting spaces provide essential support to the flexible open plan workspace and merge more informal breakout spaces and utility functions. The workplace provides staff with equitable access to daylight and views with visual barriers minimized to enhance vision across the floor.
