Frank Gehry-designed Dr Chau Chak Wing Building for UTS undergoing final fit-out
Construction is now complete on the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), designed by Frank Gehry and the team at Gehry Partners. This $150m new-build facility is part of a wider billion-dollar redevelopment scheme at the UTS and focus will now turn to the fit-out so that students can begin to use the building in Semester 1, 2015. UTS Vice-Chancellor Professor Attila Brungs said: “The Dr Chau Chak Wing Building and other recently completed projects are a physical manifestation of the innovative and creative thinking that underpins UTS’s commitment to creating revolutionary spaces to support our new models of learning.
