Gottlieb Paludan Architects‘ plan has been selected by Odense City Local Authority to improve the connection between Odense city and the harbour district with a new foot and cycle bridge. The development, expected to be completed in 2015, is hoped to become a landmark for the city By designing a simple and beautiful construction based on the natural traffic patterns, the team wishes to ensure clear and attractive functionality for all future users - pedestrians and cyclists - and to ease travel to and from the city by train. Odense is the third largest city in Denmark. Its harbour district is expanding with homes, educational opportunities and workplaces.
