In celebration of our 400th issue of News Review, here are the top 100 most viewed projects of 2012
Today we celebrate the 400th issue of our weekly News Review with a run-down of the top 100 most viewed projects on World Architecture News this year. Topping the list is the shortlist announcement for the 2012 WAN Hotel of the Year Award, closely followed by a news report on Deep Ocean Technology's Water Discus Hotel in Dubai, where an international collaboration has moved one step closer to realising this futuristic underwater hospitality centre.
In compiling our Top 100 thus far in 2012, it soon became clear that tall towers are high up on the list of WAN readers' favourites with Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill's Dancing Dragons, Atkins' Ad Astra Tower in Batumi, Georgia and Skidmore, Owings and Merrills' One World Trade Centre in New York all making the top ten.
