| New report quantifies the cost of Global Warming |
| A dramatic report has been released which puts numbers to the cost of Global Warming – a tangible value which could have far reaching effects on architecture and further increase the focus on carbon reduction. The UK Government commissioned Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change estimates that inaction will cost the equivalent of losing at least 5% of global GDP each year, now and forever. However, if a wider range of risks is taken into account, the estimates of damage could rise to 20% of GDP or more.
