Chicago architects lead the way in future proofing…
As the density of our cities spirals upwards so the premium for brownfield sites grows apace. Increasingly architects will be tasked with urban regeneration schemes involving existing towers. The cost of these projects is huge when demolition and loss of revenue are added to construction, not to mention the environmental impact. Chicago architects Goettsch Partners have future-proofed this tower by preparing for upwards extension at the original design stage.
