Unicorn theatre opens
UK’s first purpose built professional theatre for children
The Unicorn Theatre for Children in Southwark, by Keith Williams Architects, was officially opened on 1st December by Lord Attenborough. The £13 million project is by far the UK’s most ambitious theatre project for children’s drama. Conceived as a “grown up” building for children, the large glazed foyer contains the studio theatre, and the “Grand Stair”, leading to the special copper clad main 340 seat auditorium, the building’s creative heart............more
