Description London's waterways have played an essential part in the city's growth and prosperity over the centuries and continue to add signifiant value to development and place-making today. Despite the downturn, East London remains the focus of the capital's greatest regeneration investment and the area's waterways are one of its biggest assets.

This NLA half day conference will examine strategic planning policy, regeneration and development plans for this significant area of London, and to find out how the value of water is being harnessed through a series of development case-studies in Greenwich, Canary Wharf & The Isle of Dogs, Lower Lee Valley, Stratford & Barking.
