First works by some of the world’s most celebrated and influential architects will be showcased in a new Architectural Association School exhibition (7 November –13 February) providing a fascinating insight into the long-term interests, agendas and even obsessions of key figures in contemporary architecture. The exhibition will trace the origins of contemporary architecture through the formative projects of architects during the 1960s and 70s and includes work by Norman Foster + Richard Rogers, Renzo Piano, Herzog & DeMeuron and Zaha Hadid, Archigram, Rem Koolhaas, Toyo Ito, Aldo Rossi and many others, allowing reconsideration of practices better known through their current or later works.
