Design Skills Symposium: Delivering Better Places

Description Recent research by University of Glasgow Urban Studies Department for Scottish Government, RICS and Architecture and Design Scotland looked at the role of delivering better places in achieving these objectives. The research, based on case studies, notes that better places is about bringing together two key processes: market making and place making. The challenge is ‘how’ – this is the focus of Day 1 of the symposium. The daily programme includes the following seminars and is available to purchase separately from the full conference package at £50:-
