The World’s leading political voice will confront the most important global challenges of 21st Century -
Think, a new sustainability, regeneration and innovation event taking place from1-3 May at ExCeL London, has achieved a major coup in securing the rights to run a special session from The Prince of Wales, as well as the 'carbon neutral' attendance of former US Vice President Al Gore. Both will appear via a live satellite link at 10:00 and 16:00 respectively, on Tuesday 1 May.
The Prince of Wales address will coincide with his May Day Business Summit on Climate Change, which he is hosting in his capacity as President of Business in the Community. His Royal Highness will be addressing one thousand of the country’s business leaders live from St James’s Palace and the broadcast to Think will be one of a number of simultaneous addresses to linked events throughout the UK.
It will mark a key date for the built environment sector, as major business leaders also come together at Think to create a single action plan on climate change.
From 16:00, VP Gore will address Think delegates directly from New Orleans. Recognised as one of the world’s leading environmental pioneers, Gore will look at how the UK agenda is linked with the challenges facing the industry and discuss how the US and Europe must work together to solve some of the world’s most pressing global challenges.
