Description In Which Way China?, on Wednesday 21 February at 6.30pm in the Old Theatre, Old Building, LSE, Professor Herbert Girardet, director of programmes at the World Future Council; chairman of the Schumacher Society; and senior adviser to Dongtan Eco-City, and Isabel Hilton, presenter of Night Waves, BBC Radio 3 come together to discuss:

Will the world's most populous country embrace sustainable development? Is Dongtan City, Shanghai's new eco-city, the model for saving our cities and sustainable urban development?

This event, organised by the LSE Environmental Initiatives Network, is free and open to all with no ticket required. Entry is on a first come, first served basis.
