British-Dutch Dialogue 2011 on 'Making Successful Cities' in Rotterdam
High-level bilateral networking conference brings together over 100 experts from the UK and the Netherlands to share innovative ideas on urban policy
One hundred of the brightest and best British and Dutch thinkers will gather in Rotterdam (Netherlands) from Sunday 6 to Tuesday 8 March 2011 to share ideas, experiences and creative new responses to the challenges and opportunities facing our modern cities.
Apeldoorn delegates, who have been hand-picked from among the most influential British and Dutch commentators, policy-makers, business leaders, academics, artists, designers and civil society representatives, select one of 4 specialist sub-themes: Urban Economy, Urban Space, Urban Actors or Urban Creativity. They will attend tailored workshops and practical site visits in Rotterdam illustrating these themes. A wider public will be able to join in discussions via the Conference’s Twitter feed (#apeldoorn11).
