A visit to BAU 2011 needs careful planning: there´s travel to be organised, a hotel to book, information to be gathered on the exhibitors you want to visit, etc. All this is made much easier thanks to the wide range of services BAU offers to support its trade visitors. The aim is to take the stress out of preparations for the design, construction and planning professionals coming to Munich in January 2011, so that when they arrive here they are in the right frame of mind to explore what BAU has to offer.
New opening times: Easier travel
On Monday to Friday BAU 2011 is open from 9:30 to 18:30. On the Saturday, the last day of the fair, it opens at 9:30 and closes at 17:00. The opening times have been moved back half an hour, to avoid the rush hour. The underground railway and the motorways are then not so full, and exhibitors and visitors have a more pleasant journey to and from the fair.
Print@home ticket: save time and money
If you want to save time and money, then you can buy your entrance ticket for BAU online at www.bau-muenchen.com/en/Home/Visitor/Tickets. A one-day ticket bought online costs only €22 instead of €29 (2-day ticket: €30 instead of €39; full pass: €45 instead of €59). This also saves you valuable time when you get to the fair. The process is easy. You print out your Print@home ticket yourself at home or in the office, and use this print-out to pass straight through the turnstiles at the fair. The Print@home ticket is also valid as a ticket on the local public transport system, when travelling to the fair. For a free return journey (on local transport), just collect a transport ticket at one of the info counters at the exhibition centre.
