TEDxEast, the east coast conference that curates industry leaders and thought innovators will host ‘Interconnectivity’, an independent TEDx event supported by BBC.com to be held at The New York Times Building (620 8th Avenue) on November 11, 2010 with a post party at The Standard’s Le Bain. During the daylong conference, a select group of influential thought leaders and innovators will speak about ways in which knowledge and experience are connected. The speakers come from diverse industries such as technology, performing arts, food, and academia to explore the connections between and within their relative disciplines.
Dennis Crowley, the founder of FourSquare and celebrity chef Thomas Keller are among the confirmed thought leaders that will present to an expected crowd of over 300 people. Additional speakers include artist and TED2010 speaker Raghava KK, connector Sunny Bates, architect Shohei Shigematsu, designer Nancy Duarte, entrepreneur Jason Johnson, Columbia Law Professor Tim Wu, singer/songwriter Dayna Kurtz, photographer Rick Guidotti, singer/songwriter Morley, and Gavin Starks, founder of carbon data site AMEE.
