The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) will bring the
2010 IIDA Leaders Breakfast series to Houston at the Junior League of Houston Ballroom on 12 May, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Last year, the Texas/Oklahoma Chapter hosted more than 300 industry and business leaders,
and the chapter is thrilled to bring the Leaders Breakfast program back to Houston for the second time.
2010 Houston Leaders Breakfast will feature speaker Dan Heath and honoree Steve Stelzer for a morning of
inspiration and sustainable leadership.
Keynote speaker Dan Heath is co-author, with his brother Chip, of the New York Times bestselling book Made to Stick: Why Some Ideas
Survive and Others Die and his latest book, Switch: How to Change Things When
Change Is Hard, also written with Chip, and is already a New York Times and
Wall Street Journal bestseller.
Additionally, the IIDA Texas/Oklahoma Chapter will honor Steve Stelzer for his outstanding contributions to the
local community and his promotion of green energy and green building. Steve currently serves as the Program
Director for the Code Enforcement Green Building Resource Center.
Leaders Breakfast events are attended annually by designers, industry leaders, contractors, developers, real
estate brokers and key business leaders in each city. A keynote speaker highlights each breakfast
exemplifying an aspect of leadership in today’s world.
