Studio Daniel Libeskind is set to present a collection of its furniture and household products at the 49th edition of Salone del Mobile, the world’s most famous furniture fair. The products featured will be the TORQ table and chair, a Sterling silver tea set, the Denver door handle, as well as the exhibition Futuropolis, which will include a separate windowed vitrine tied into the design. These products and installations will be displayed beginning on April 14 through the duration of Salone del Mobile and Milan Design Week.
Studio Daniel Libeskind is no stranger to Salone Del Mobile, having unveiled the Spirit House Chair in 2007, as well as the tea set and door handle last year. This year SDL will unveil two brand new items, the TORQ table and chair, a series inspired by Libeskind’s design for the new Museo di Arte Contemporanea, a major component of the Fiera Milano project. The TORQ series, like the tea set, is produced by Sawaya & Moroni and will be on display at their showroom at Salone del Mobile, Milan Fairgrounds, Rho.
