Explore 20th century architecture, history & semiotics in the first and only Roman Velonotte. Internationally renowned specialists will be on hand to tell you about incredible monuments in English, Russian & Italian.
Velonotte was created in Moscow in 2007 by historian Sergey Nikitin and Moskultprog to promote and valorise urbanistics, landscape and history. It is an annual non-profit event that presents Moscow’s both key and less-known monuments, landscapes and urban developments to hundreds of people from Russia and the rest of the world. Due to popular demand and many requests from participants, they have widened their outreach: Velonotte Roma 2010 is going to be the first European action. After the ride the group will watch the sun rise on a picturesque lakeside.

Moskultprog is a production center of unique cultural initiatives originally in Russia founded by Sergey Nikitin, PhD, professor of history of arts. The concept of Moskultprog is to present recent and intriguing urban studies. Their authors always participate in these events as guides. The center is well-known for the public non-commercial open-air waks on architectural, socio urbanistic and natural subjects, which feature comments of the leading experts in these fields, such as Valentin Yanin, Andrey Zaliznyak and Natalia Dushkina.
