ANCB Lecture: Architectural Behaviourology

Event Date 21/03/2010

Location Berlin

Country Germany

Description Yoshiharu Tsukamoto - Atelier Bow Wow, Tokyo, will lecture on Architectural Behaviourology and converse on the subject with Matthias Sauerbruch and Christopher Dell.

This lecture suggests that the concept of behaviour need not apply solely to human beings: it could be central to a hypothesis for understanding the correlations between human life, nature, and the built environment. Architectural Behaviourology attempts to place architecture and urban space in a position where these three categories are effectively synthesised. This event is held during Ècole Spéciale d'Architecture France.
