More Details on the lecture will be provided at a later date.
Location: Hafele, 25 East 26th Street, New York 10010. ‘Helping to create a Sustainable Future’ Frank Lloyd Wright created places that are a joy to be in and around and that add greatly to the neighborhoods and environments in which they are set. This legacy of design genius has huge relevance for reversing the visual, social and environmental entropy that is a result of the past 50 odd years of over-zoned, poorly designed and shoddily built suburban sprawl. The Foundation’s goal is to bring Mr. Wright’s design legacy directly to the urban, suburban architectural and planning debates on how, this coming century, we should go about creating better, saner, more authentic and sustainable places in and around which people of all ages and incomes can live out their lives.
