Architecture for Humanity UK (AfH UK) will partner with Architecture sans Frontieres and Article 25 to speak on the role architectural and construction professionals in the charitable and development sectors. The event will be hosted by by Building Design Partnership as part of the London Festival of Architecture.
The event will be held at The Hub – the premises of Building Design Partnership – in London. The programme for the event will commence with a drinks reception at 7pm followed by a talk from 7:30pm – 8:30pm, and a Q&A session. Representatives from all three charities will be presenting at the event, and Chris Medland, will be speaking on behalf of AfH UK.
“We are hoping to use this event as an opportunity to clearly explain and highlight opportunities and different ways in which architects and other professionals within the construction industry can use their skills to help charities and worthy development causes,” said Chris Medland, AfH UK Trustee. “The evening will explain how volunteers can help the charitable and development sector with varying levels of commitment and at different stages of their lives."
