Description Join The Academy of Urbanism for three days of outstanding CPD learning at their Annual Congress, this year taking place in Bristol, designated European Green Capital in 2015 and the winner of the AoU European City of the Year in 2009.

The Academy will work with a host of local and national partners to explore the transformative effects of green urbanism, including: Mayor George Ferguson, Mayor of Bristol; Jaime Lerner, three-times Mayor of Curitiba; Barra Mac Ruairi, strategic director of place in Bristol; Sue Riddlestone OBE, chief executive of Bioregional.

Join Academicians, Young urbanists and friends from across the UK, Ireland and Europe to raise awareness of urbanism as a greening mechanism from the perspective of leadership and governance, community wellbeing, housing and the physical environment, transport and movement, smart urbanism, the economy, food, nature, education and much more.

The Congress will provide a great mix of study visits, walkabouts, interactive workshops and high level, keynote speakers as well as excellent networking opportunities.
