Location: The Building Centre, 26 Store Street, London WC1E 7BT
Join the Architecture Education Network at The Building Centre for an
evening exploring the impact of new school design, as London experiences one of the biggest investments in education and skills infrastructure since the 1960s.
Architecture and construction face several challenges in this: not only must they deliver an ambitious programme of new educational buildings for the capital but also be a part of the education process. This session will use The Building Centre’s exhibition as a starting point to focus on these issues, central to both teachers and architects.
The Architecture Education Network, created by Open House, brings together teachers and architects informally to unlock the potential of architecture as an educational experience.
This event is free to AEN members. Non-members can book a place for a fee of £15. For membership information or to book a place on this event, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call Sarah Smillie on 020 7383 5722. Places must be booked before 1 December.
