Aged 46 years, Nigel is a director of The British Land Corporation Limited and British Land Developments Limited and is on the Executive Committee for The British Land Company Plc.

As Head of Developments he is responsible for the Group's development activities. This includes assessing and negotiating new development opportunities and leading the planning, leasing and implementation of the Group's development projects. British Land is one of Europe's biggest REITS and has one of the largest development programmes in the UK, including currently committed projects of over 1.5 million sq ft in Central London.

Nigel is a member of the British Council for Offices and Investment Property Forum.
