Stefan Preuss is an associate with Spowers Architects in Melbourne, Australia and heads sustainable design across the practice. He is also a faculty member and certified assessor with the Green Building Council of Australia and a frequent guest lecturer at Melbourne University on Architecture and Sustainability.

Holding Masters Degrees in Architectural Design from Kassel University, Germany, and in Environmental Design of Buildings from the University of Wales, Cardiff Stefan has been working in the field of sustainable design in the commercial and public sectors since 1997 in Germany, Greece, Switzerland and Australia.

Recent projects include the Metropolitan Fire Brigade in Burnley, Victoria (certified 5-Star Green Star Office Design), the multi award winning Williamstown High School, and the Australian Technical College in Sunshine (Winner of the World Architecture News Award 2009 for best education building).
