Jim Olson is the founding partner of Olson Sundberg Kundig Allen Architects, recipient of the 2009 AIA Architecture Firm Award. Inspired by the relationship between architecture, nature and art, Olson has designed a wide range of projects around the world – most notably, elegant private residences, often for major art collectors. Books on Olson’s work include Jim Olson Houses (2009); Art + Architecture: The Ebsworth Collection and Residence (2006); and Architecture, Art and Craft: Olson Sundberg Kundig Allen Architects (2003).
