Thomas Christoffersen, Associate.

Thomas Christoffersen began his collaboration with Bjarke Ingels in 2001 when PLOT was first formed and is currently an Associate. Thomas has since worked on every notable project from the VM Houses to the current largest project in the office 8 House. Most recently, Thomas was leading the project of the new Astana Presidential Library in Kazakhstan which won the 1st prize. Thomas is a Project and Design Architect who has been instrumental in detailing and overseeing the construction of the majority of BIG’s built works. Thomas was in the design team of Odense Aquacenter and the Psychiatric Hospital, which was completed in 2005 and includes a large sport hall. In addition to his long standing participation in all things BIG, Thomas took a sabbatical year to work in New York City with WORK Architects and has also worked with Stan Allen, David Ling in NYC and Henning Larsen Architects.
